Are you suffering from an energy drain?
Do you feel tired and worn out at the end of the day?
Do you wish you had more energy?
This may not be a simple drain of physical energy. Did you know that your thoughts create your beliefs and that your beliefs create your reality? This is something that you should be thinking about.
If you feel drained of energy, it could be that you have left your energy behind. As we go about our day, we do not realize that we leave ourselves barren of energy sources by simply not calling back our energy.
It is usually as simple as allowing ourselves to continue thinking about the dramas we have just experienced. A great wise person once told me, ‘if your thoughts are in the past your energy is in the past, if your thoughts are in the future of what may be or what may not be, then your energy is in the future.” So where does that leave us? It actually leaves us with an energy deficiency.
When we leave our trail of energy in places that we were or have not yet gone we leave our present energy in the negative. For example if you wake up everyday with 100% energy and you begin your daily tasks and every time you go someplace you leave some of your thoughts at that place say 10% of your thoughts, then that is 10% of your energy that is not with you. If you are thinking or worrying about something that has not happened yet then you are sending a portion of your energy there, say another 20%,
Now you are deficient not only the 10 % you left behind but also the 20% you sent ahead, now becoming deficient 30%. This means that you are expecting your physical body to function with a 30% deficiency. You must be as cautious as possible to ensure that you always call back your energy with your thoughts. Be present; bring your thoughts into what it is that you are doing at THIS moment in time.
Here are 5 easy ways to call back your energy:
1. Be present; bring your thoughts fully into this moment.
2. Focus solely on your physical actions of the moment
3. Smile, take a deep breath and focus on where you are right now
4. Be thankful for this moment and focus your eyes on something beautiful like a flower growing in the garden or a bird that is flying overhead.
5. Say out loud or in silence “ I am present, I am here” and focus on how your breath moves your body.
All of these simple actions will help you to continue to call your energy back from Wherever it is that you have left or sent it. If you continue to do this over a period of time you will begin to notice that you may not be as tired or distracted. You will begin to live in the moment. The side effect of this could actually be a more peaceful and healthy person.
